Measles in Ontario

Due to an increase in Measles activity globally, Ontario is seeing more cases of Measles. Measles is a serious respiratory infection that is highly contagious. Individuals with Measles spread the virus by coughing or sneezing and are considered contagious up to four days before exhibiting symptoms. New Policy: Supplemental Funding

In the very rare instance where a client is sexually abused by a Registered Dental Hygienist, CDHO is legally required to provide funding for therapy/counselling to the client if they meet certain eligibility criteria. This funding is paid directly to the therapist/counsellor, covers only their fees and is reduced by any other funding the client may have (e.g., OHIP, private insurance).
