We’re looking for 5-10 RDHs interested in becoming Peer Circles case writers or case reviewers! These RDHs work collaboratively with a consultant to develop and review the cases that are used for Peer Circles.

The first stage of case development will take place at an in-person workshop in Toronto on Monday, October 21. New case writers will be trained in case writing and will then work with other case writers to develop first drafts of case scenarios. Following this workshop, case writers and reviewers will meet online to review, edit and provide feedback on cases. A second round of case writing and reviewing will take place in the spring.

There are a few requirements for those who are interested, the most important of which are enthusiasm and commitment! Case writers and case reviewers are paid an honorarium for their time, at a rate of $300 per day for attending in-person workshops and $37.50 per hour for attending online meetings. Travel and accommodation expenses are also reimbursed. If you wish to participate, please note the following:

• Case reviewers need to attend all four online meetings, all from 9 a.m. – 12 p.m. on:

  • Tuesday, April 15, 2025
  • Thursday, April 17, 2025
• You must be currently practising dental hygiene in Ontario, and registered in good standing with CDHO (not currently subject to any disciplinary or incapacity proceedings)

Members of CDHO’s Council or a committee, or individuals who currently serve as Quality Assurance peer assessors or facilitators, are not eligible to serve as case writers or reviewers.
