All RDHs in clinical practice are required to maintain current CPR certification and basic first aid training, which must include a hands-on component covering: 

• Basic support-level CPR for adults, children and infants (one- and two-rescuer)
• Foreign-body airway obstruction relief
• Automatic external defibrillator (AED) use 
• Bag-valve mask ventilation (BVM) / Ambu-bag use

Please note that online-only CPR courses are not accepted. Certificates with a stated expiry remain valid until that date, while certificates without an expiry are valid for one year from the course date.
