CDHO is required by law to have a Quality Assurance (QA) Program to help Registered Dental Hygienists reflect on their practice and identify areas of their practice that require improvement. The QA Program was designed so that Registered Dental Hygienists can customize their continuing improvement activities in a manner that suits their personal situation and resources. The QA Program has two components:

1. Self-Assessment, Continuing Education and Professional Development
2. Peer and Practice Assessment
