CDHO is pleased to announce that Anita Arzoomanian, RPh, MHSc, CHE has been appointed Director, Professional Practice, beginning March 31, 2025.

Anita is a skilled regulatory professional, bringing extensive experience in Quality Assurance programming to the College. She joins CDHO from the Ontario College of Pharmacists, where she held increasingly senior positions, oversaw the Quality Assurance team, and most recently as the Practice Consultancy, Professional Development and Remediation Lead. In this role, she developed and oversaw the Professional Development and Remediation Framework, which gathered data on trends in learning needs and gaps of pharmacy professionals, with the aim of improving the quality of care. Anita was also responsible for managing the Practice Consultants team, which responds to enquiries from registrants and the public. Anita joins CDHO at an exciting time as we continue to augment the Quality Assurance Program. Anita looks forward to continuing the collaborative relationships we have developed with Registered Dental Hygienists as we enhance QA program elements, with a particular focus on integrating Peer Circles as a new Path option and identifying other opportunities for meaningful engagement.
