New Reportable Disease: C. Auris

As of January 1, 2025, Candida Auris (C. auris) is a reportable disease of public health significance under the Health Protection and Promotion Act, 1990 (HPPA). This means that if an RDH suspects or determines that a person has or may have a C. auris infection, they must report this to their local public health unit.
