As we start 2025, our focus is on delivering a rewarding experience for all RDHs as they engage in QA program activities, whether it’s volunteers for the 2025 QA assessment, RDHs who come out to more optional Peer Circles, or those who continue to help us develop and refine our tools and processes. We’ve highlighted some of these exciting initiatives below.
2025 QA Submissions for Volunteers
RDHs who volunteered for assessment and selected Path 1 or Path 2 can now submit their requirements through the SMILE Portal (As a friendly reminder, the Self-Service Portal will be unavailable from February 22 to March 2 because of a database upgrade). After you submit, your Peer Coach should be in touch within two weeks to set up a coaching session. Please submit all your requirements by June 30, 2025, so that coaching can be wrapped up by the fall.
RDHs who volunteered for assessment and selected Path 4 should have received an email asking about their availability this spring. Our goal is to match approximately half of the volunteers with a facilitator and Peer Circle group that fits their schedule for the spring cohort, starting the week of March 17. Those whose schedules do not align with the spring sessions will be surveyed again for their availability in the fall. If you missed out on joining an optional Peer Circle last year, we’re excited to share that they’re returning in 2025! We’re exploring new cities to visit and planning online sessions to make participation easier for everyone. Stay tuned—more details are coming soon!
Continuous Quality Improvement
Throughout 2025, we will continue to collect feedback from Peer Circle participants, evaluating the delivery process and participants’ coaching experiences. It’s important to us that we get this right! Participants can expect to receive requests to complete surveys but are welcome to reach out at any time during the process to share their feedback.
We have scheduled additional workshops and information sessions for facilitators and Peer Coaches to discuss, clarify, and refine processes. We’re also working with case writers and case reviewers to continue to build our case directory. We look forward to an eventful 2025!
