Benjamin Oghenerukevwe Boyi is not registered with CDHO and is not authorized to practise as a Dental Hygienist in Ontario. Mr. Boyi is known to use aliases, including the names of actual Registered Dental Hygienists, and is alleged to have impersonated a Dental Hygienist at multiple dental clinics in Ontario using forged documents. As a reminder, employers should verify the credentials of dental hygienist employees using CDHO’s Public Register and by checking valid photo identification. Even when using a dental recruitment service or temporary agency, ensure candidates are appropriately registered with CDHO and authorized to practise in Ontario, as not all agencies perform these checks.
